Bon Voyage Ross Mchoul

Bittersweet news as we announce that Ross McHoul has chosen to advance his coaching career by relocating to pastures new in Greenwich, New York! A big move, but a shrewd one given the very strong growth in squash in the States due its recent inclusion in the Olympics featuring in the 2028 LA Games.

Ross has been somewhat of a permanent fixture at the club. A successful squash junior he subsequently took up coaching and for the last 15 years has coached our juniors with great successes most recently Thomas Myers , U13 British Champion.

Ross has also been heavily involved in team squash, in addition to organising some of our regular social team fixtures including the annual match with Fitzwilliam, he has captained squash teams to East Division 1 success on a number of occasions and also the Men’s National League team. As current National League Champions Ross’ swansong will be representing ESC and Scotland in the European Club Championships in London this September.

And for those of you not involved in squash, Ross has been our ever present friendly face at reception during daytime hours. A huge loss to the club but we wish him all the very best for the future.

Poker nights, email the team if you are interested!

Marco Magnante and Matt Grieve are having a birthday party!

See you soon
