Congratulations to Ally Thomson and Greg Lobban in winning the Scottish Squash Nationals!



Congratulations to Ross McHoul (O35s) and Simon Boughton (O50s) in the National Masters, narrowly defeating ESC players, Jacques Laas and Adrian Richmond respectively in very tight 5 setters. Commiserations to other ESC entrants Blair Mckenzie, Barry Masson and Colin Cruickshank.

Padel

On the padel front, well done Desni Mcintosh, Mhairi Mcleod Rachel Richmond and Fiona Livingston who played in the Femme Open tournament in Harrogate at the weekend. Desni and Mhairi coming a very credible 3rd. And to Ian Whatley who played in a 4 nations veterans tournament in Derby where Scotland placed 3rd. Register with the LTA for regular updates on events going on in Padel world.


Padel Club Championships- grab your partners!

Categories Mens, Ladies and Mixed – Open, O40, O50, O60. Starts 1st April and there will be a "play by" date for each round. Players organise their own matches. It will be a MONRAD system which means all places are played for which will help us with ESC padel rankings/gradings. Finals will be 18th/19th August followed by BBQ on the Saturday. Entries to be emailed to team by Sunday 26th March. If you do not have a partner we will compile a list of players and try and match people up.


Still on the lookout for players to host Fitzwilliam in a social match this weekend, email us if you are interested. Standard, level 4 and above. Padel, food, and rugby.
